Join us as we tackle yard maintenance projects at 12 residences around the County operated by The Arc Montgomery County!

Work to be done will vary by site, but may include:

  • raking and bagging leaves
  • removing dead plants and/or small tree branches
  • pruning
  • laying new top soil or mulch
  • planting flowers
  • laying grass seed
Consider what you might do to your own yard before winter sets in and bring those skills to benefit our neighbors living and working with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

Locations: Each team of 8-10 volunteers will complete the yard work at two residences. To protect the privacy of The Arc clients, the exact addresses will be provided to registered volunteers only. Please select your service site based on the ZIP code / neighborhood information provided; locations are listed in priority order as identified by The Arc.

  • Bel Pre Road area, Rockville 20853
  • Twinbrook Parkway area, Rockville 20851** Filled!
