Our mission is fulfilled by volunteers serving on our committees, each led by an Officer serving on our Board of Directors. Individuals representing CVC member businesses are invited to join one or more of our committees to facilitate and promote corporate service! Contact us to learn more!

Annual Luncheon Committee

The Annual Luncheon Committee is tasked with planning and executing the CVC’s Annual Luncheon and Awards Ceremony, as well as producing the CVC Annual Review highlighting our members and their employee volunteer programs and other community support.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee prepares and distributes all outbound CVC communications, including upcoming event promotion and member success stories to CVC members, the media and the general public. Committee meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 1:00 PM.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee provides oversight and guidance for all of the CVC’s financial matters including preparing financial statements and tax returns, reviewing revenues and expenses, and identifying revenue streams to support CVC programs. Committee meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 4:30 PM.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee’s goal is to both engage our current members and seek new members to broaden our reach and spread the word about corporate volunteerism. Committee meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 12:30 PM.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee’s mission and purpose is to ensure the continuity and character of the CVC Board of Directors by reviewing, considering and nominating appropriate candidates for Director and Officer Positions.. Committee meetings are held quarterly.

Programs Committee

The Programs Committee plans and executes CVC events including networking events and educational programs. Committee meetings are held monthly on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:15 AM.

Service Committee

The Service Committee is charged with planning and producing the CVC's Workforce for Good service projects. Workforce for Good service projects offer pre-planned volunteer activities for CVC members and their employees while also providing an opportuntiy to serve a nonprofit organization they may not have been previously introduced to. Committee meetings are held monthly on the third Wednesday at 5:30 PM.
